Aspire

The famous story of the raven stealing the sun is a frequent subject in Northwest Coast Art. I like the idea of playing with the story both conceptualizing it and personalizing it. This design depicts the moment of release when the raven flies through a cloud and releases the sun back into the sky. For me personally this design came out the same time I was graduating from Law School I was being released into the world after years of hard work and struggle. As a young person I had aspired to go to law school, truly an unrealistic goal Somehow some way I manged to accomplish that goal. I truly believe we can become almost anything we set our minds to. All we must do is Aspire.
